Seven new research projects to strengthen resilience in the Nordic and Baltic regions
Eighty-four applications answered NordForsk’s Call for Proposals on Antagonistic Threats Challenging Societal Security in the Nordic and Baltic countries.
Seven projects have now been awarded funding totalling NOK 90.7 million. The projects will investigate everything from biological threats to digital threats targeting youth and social media’s impact on democracy. MSB has contributed 10 million SEK to the call.
NordForsk is an organisation under the Nordic Council of Ministers that provides funding for and facilitates Nordic cooperation on research and research infrastructure. For more than 10 years, NordForsk has allocated funds for research into societal security.
