The Event Safety Guide is a guide for safer events. The guide covers the planning, execution and winding-up of a musical event.
The guide has been produced so that event organizers, government authorities and other stakeholders can get guidance in how a safe and secure event should be planned. The guide applies particularly to musical events, but can also be used for other event types. It is based on collected experience, advice, tips and current Swedish legislation in this area.
The purpose of the guide is to create a common understanding of safety concepts, increasing the opportunities for clear communication and lead to a constructive cooperation between all parties involved. The purpose of the guide is not to create a new regulatory framework for work on event safety. The guide is based on current Swedish regulations that may be of importance for safety at an event.
