Societal Security is in focus for this year’s theme ‘Safe and sound’ at the Embassy of Sweden in Washington D.C. The objective of these events is to facilitate collaboration under the bilateral research and development agreement between Sweden and the U.S.

On the 28th of September, the Public Health Agency of Sweden (PHAS) is arranging a round table on Global Health Security – Cross Border Health Threats together with the U.S Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The aim is to discuss a number of topics related to global health security, to identify challenges and opportunities, and to see how international collaboration in research and development can help us meet those challenges and make the most of the opportunities.
