Well prepared in the event of emergency or crisis

The MSB develops and strengthens society's ability to manage emergencies and crises - locally, regionally and nationally. When a serious emergency or crisis occurs, we will support those responsible, and ensure that those working with crisis management are able to coordinate their actions and their information. We also conduct operations in other countries and recruit staff from many different professions.

International operations

MSB personnel have many years of experience working with and providing support to other organizations during and after natural disasters and conflict situations.

Taking part in a mission

The MSB looks for individuals who feel a strong commitment to their fellow man, and who want to develop their abilities and harness them for the benefit of the victims of conflicts and disasters.

Emergency response

The MSB should work for the support and development of societal capabilities to carry out effective emergency responses.
